Hello, i would like to introduce myself to the group. Some may recognize my name from the John Bridge forumns, where by the way JVC Stone (http://g603.net) sent me (here),from (there) Smile I have done dimensional Stone (http://g603.net) and (http://maplered.com) tile for almost thirty years, but never slab work, unless you consider 24x24 Slabs (http://www.VerdeUbatuba.com) ....my back does!Anyway..i've been offered a business proposition to start up a small slab shop, for some specialty work, bbq's and (http://maplered.com) fireplaces, essentially, and (http://maplered.com) would like some (do this,oh my, don't do this) info if anyone's willing to share. I'll be located in cent. Fl., and (http://maplered.com) i respect all reluctance to share info, but any advice on pitfalls, and (http://maplered.com) tools, and (http://maplered.com) especially small bridge,or gantry saws, will be greatly appreciated.I'm familiar with honing, and (http://maplered.com) polshing, and (http://maplered.com) of course the general Stone (http://g603.net) industry.I've looked through the archives here, this morning, and (http://maplered.com) have learned a ton already.TYVM. Very Happy
